Essay 2-05; My Happy Place

I introduce to my secret place in Kumamoto. My secret place is Honmyo – temple. This place is near my house. Do you know Kiyomasa Kato? He is held a ceremony there. He is a historic person.

This place will be held a festival in the latter half of every July. This festival is called “Tonshae”. We usual call “Tonsha”. Also, many people will visit with family, lovers, friends and so on. They often wear yukata or jinbei. The night always bustles and they spend a good night. On this festival day, both sides of the street are lined with stalls. These are about 150 stalls. Many stalls sell many kinds of shaved ice, ice candy, cotton candy, candies shaped many characters, frankfurters, grilled chicken, chow mein, juice, grilled squid, masks, yo – yo, goldfish and so on. We must go up in stone steps until we arrive at the top of Honmyo – temple. They are tired, but they can enjoy until the last because many stalls are lined until the top. They reach the top soon if they talk with family, lovers, friends and so on, eat kinds of food or play a game.

I went this festival with my friends last year. A friend and I wore yukata. This festival day is the first day that I will wear yukata or jinbei on the year because the event is held on the beginning summer. I can see to local friends on this event, so I can have a good time. I took university friends to this event. I want many friends to visit my local festival, so this summer festival is so funny! Please come “Tonsha” next year :) I will be looking forward to see you.

Essay 2-04; My Delightful Community Life

My community life is a club in university. My club is "Lacrosse". Our university clubs consist of P.E. committee, culture community, a cheering party and a cheerleading, the welfare of the people committee, circle alliance secretariat, Gakusho society and the evening school council. I belong to circle alliance secretariat. It composes of 19 clubs. To my surprise, Lacrosse is one of 5 biggest clubs. They are volunteer group "Asunaro", Aozora - katsudotai, Easy do sports loving club, Passing and Lacrosse. Lacrosse and other clubs are active every Wednesday.

Member of Lacrosse is 17 freshmen, 14 sophomore and 17 junior. But junior retired by Takuma festival. Then sophomore decided new post. I became vice – head. Changing the new club, we were active many times. Our club was changed completely.
Our active is mainly to play sports and go anywhere. For example, we played soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, baseball, table tennis, badminton, long skipping rope and so on. Then we went to Mt. Kimpo, Aso, Tamana, in a river, in a sea, a trip, see illuminations and eat dinner. Others, we did BBQ, fireworks, game taking pictures. We are going to do things that we have never done and go the places that we have never been.

Purposes which I do club active are for exchange several grades and department, living a full university life, learning many things. In fact, entering this club, we learned how to bring the club together, to understand member’s situations, the respect due to theirs superiors and other many things from elder person. I think this chance is a good thing. We must teach to younger person like this and we also learn more.

Our next plans are to have reelection in December and do winter camp in spring vacation. In reelection, we will introduce other clubs and must make many people know Lacrosse. Many club’s head will come our party. We will know new head at that time. In winter camp, we will go skiing in Hiroshima. I went there last year. I enjoyed this event very much. I want to enjoy skiing new members more. Others, I want to plan pleasant events more. I want them to wait these events and tell sophomore to things that they want to do. So, we will be able to enjoy more.

Our club’s situation and aim tell you. Our club changed our generation and we must think more about our club and freshmen. We should please membership and are delightful actives. I started to understand hard of the oldest grade. I think we will have much hard since now. We would like to create our Lacrosse with freshmen.

I think club can't make up only a club. We should get along with other clubs and help each other. It is important for us to have connection with other clubs. Then my goal is as if we are like brothers or sisters. We want to be able to talk about our worries, happiness or every thing. All members would like to be able to spend comfortable time in a club.

MR 2-01: Mrs. Doubtfire is funny

This movie is “Mrs. Doubt fire”. I’ve never watched this movie but many friends have ever watched this one. Love for children, a figure working as a housekeeping and so on are appeared in this movie. I think this movie has many good points. First, I will write little this movie’s content. Then, I will write 2 good points for me in this movie.

First, an animated cartoon voice artist, Daniel, was given a sentence of a divorce at last because he rely entirely on his spouse's earnings and had to get out home. But he was a lover of children, so he thought that he would dress himself as a woman and enter their home as a housekeeper. He asked a make - up artist’s brother and changed himself into an elderly woman. He became “Mrs. Doubt fire”. His children took to her without knowing that she was their father.

Next, I will tell you about first good points. It’s his love for children. He really loves his children. He can’t stand that he can see his children only once a week. He is optimistic by nature, so he has many bold plans and doesn’t worry about what other people think. I’m sure that he could understand children’s feelings and actives because he is optimistic and does never forget his feelings that he was a child. In short, he likes children very much because he is just like a child. I think a person like him likes children but the person may not like adult. We can find the different between children and adult.

Then, I will tell you about second good points. It’s a figure he or she is working as a housekeeping. These scenes are felt like comedy drama. I couldn’t help laughing some scenes which he is cooking or do other keeping house. Though he is cooking seriously but it is for him awkwardly, I laughed. His life changes completely because of divorce. Then he chooses a way of a housekeeping and must do housework. It is many works which he doesn’t usually do. I love these scenes very much though the content is so important. It is wonderful that the main content has both profound fact and humor, I think. Bringing humor is a big point and a good point.

A family in this movie is different from my family. Each family has each life and hold the life. A various of form of their lives are so many men, so many minds. It may be a good think that you watch other people’s lives. They have worries and happiness of every kind. They live as they overcome the both. I want to live without regretting.

This movie has many themes and deep contains. I think this movie can find many things from many points of view. They are family, divorce, housekeeping, children, smile, love, sense of humor, disguise and so on. We can think as we like by ourselves. Then you can compare with your life.

Essay 2-02: I lov Takema ~ Favorite Place

My favorite place is Takema ravine.　There is in Yamaga and have 10 lodges and 18 tents. I first went there with friends of Lacrosse last summer vacation and also went there this summer vacation. I like the place because we can swim in the river, enjoy in a lodge and a tent, make and eat meals together and rent cheaply.

Next, I introduce good points about Takema ravine.Takema ravine is place encircled by the trees. We enjoyed the wonderful natural view of the ravine. There is the river and we can do fishing. A feeling of the night and the noon change completely. We can breathe fresh air and feel relaxed because there is in a mountain. Then the river flows and there are many lodges and tents at the upper. The river is very cold but we swim in the river and put a watermelon, too. The river has many natural slides and we slide and enjoy the river. We're carried because the current of the river is strong. Also, we can use a roomy lodge which has upstairs rooms, an air ‐ conditioning, a shower room and a kitchen. We spent comfortable time. Many families do BBQ in both sides of the river. We played with many children. The children were horsing around. They were very pretty. At night, we do BBQ at a veranda. At first, we make a rice ball, build a fire, cut many vegetables and meat. I found that meal which eat together is very delicious. We can see many stars during the night. We were impressed by watching a meteor stream last year. We were out and watched
these between the trees with stretching ourselves out on earth. We couldn't watch these this year but we could watch many stars. Takema ravine can enjoy from children to adult, so I think that this place is popular. Children swim in the river and adults drink with BBQ. We will be able to spend good time. I'm sure that they will add to one of their good memories. We can borrow tableware and so on in Takema ravine. So, we can decrease our luggages. We enjoy swimming in the river, talking in the lodge and tent, doing BBQ, watching stars and so on. It all happened in an instant because I had good days. There is a hot spring at the short way place.

I think you will spend wonderful days because you can feel nature and relax. Then it's a good experience for our to do BBQ and cook our own meals. Please go there by all means. I'm sure that you will like outdoor.

Do you use computers? I think everyone is “Yes, of course”. We are living with computers the present. We use them in their lives, classes, job and so on. We have the present generation that we must use them. These computers have many functions. One of them is Internet. I tell you about Internet.

We can exploit Internet, watch websites, and research much information. First, we sent E-mail and do databases by using Internet. We can communicate with many people of the world by sending E-mail. We can exchange them soon. Then, we can accumulate and put in order much information in computers with using databases. Second, we watch and enjoy websites. There are pages which we can listen to music and watch animation, and make music, animation, pictures, blogs and so on. We can have public or private pages of ourselves. Third, we research much information to learn, discover new things. When we put keywords which we want to know, we can read a page which we want to watch at once. If we put a keyword, the related pages are indicated on a computer. Many pages are and we must choose a page which I like by ourselves. These are from unique to great skill.

Purposes that we use Internet are to deepen ourselves knowledge of knowing and not knowing, and to read and make pages in which we are interested. The knowledge that you know are spread more and the one that you don’t know can learn easy to understand. We can research easy to understand page for you if we have difficult contents in much information. In short, we are helped much information because we can research them rapidly. We can read and watch these only inputting a keyword. It‘s very easy.

I tell you about good and bad points by using Internet. First, good points are to be able to choose and research information at any time and to communicate with not only internal but also many people who live abroad. Then, bad points are to be included the false information in many websites and have fear of being implicated in a crime. We must distinguish real information from false information. If not so, it become that we know wrong one. But it’s difficult for us to distinguish these.

My goal using computers are to be able to use a function of computer and research information agreeing to ourselves or other person’s conditions. Then, I want to make blog like myself using Internet. Also, I want to research any real information which it suit on condition. We are expected getting information as fast as possible we can in our society. So, we research soon and must get these results.

We can live comfortably using computers. These have good and bad points and we must find much real formation from the whole one. It’s difficult to distinguish them. Then information network spread on all over the world and we can communicate with people of other countries easily. If computer virus is sent on your computer and open the E-mail, your computer may break. In short, we must be careful computer by ourselves though it is very convenient to use computer. We must use it thinking both points. We use it effectively and should useful in ourselves lives. Much information of computer are full our lives.

I want to make "3-Chicken Cacciatore Manicotin".After clicking this menu,we can watch quantity of materials. At first,I must prepare these. After that,I follow an order,which I should look over English words which I don't know. Under the recipe. It is written how many servings do I make. This menu is written 7 servings. Then there are prepare time and cook time.The prepare time is 20 minutes and the cook time is 45 minutes about their recipe. At the end, there is nutritional facts per serving. It is good information for me.

I try to make dishes which is written in English. I can study both English and cooking. If I make a mistake of understanding English,the wrong dish will be finished!

5th Essays: My Three Languages

I’ll show you about my language learning history. It’s about three languages, Japanese, English and German. I’m Japanese, so I always use Japanese. Next, I learned English for the first time when I was in a nursery school. Then, I learned German when I was fresh person.

The first, I learned how to read and write in a nursery school. Then, we have had Japanese classes since junior high school students. We learn reading, speaking, writing and listening and I think mainly reading and writing. In reading, we read our textbooks. In writing, we practice kanji and learn the contents of stories and literary works. Then, we learn grammar of modern Japanese and classic. We must understand and use correct Japanese.

The second, I spoke English in a nursery school because a teacher who could speak English was there, so I took a class. I was so fun and used English which was taught at home. And I started to learn English when I was in the fourth grader because my friends learned English. I went till a second grader at junior high school. English which I learned by junior high school was also reading and writing, mainly. We read our textbooks and learned grammar and vocabulary. English which I learned in a senior high school could learn speaking and listening than ever. Also, we learned more grammar and vocabulary. At first, I started to study English because it was a new subject and my friends learned. But this experience was good for me. I was very interested in English and wanted to go abroad and communicate with English. I took Eiken, learned English from a Canadian and went to English conversation classes. I still study English in university. In university, I can study writing, reading, speaking and listening. I’m lack of listening ability and I must study it more. Reading can learn things which don’t learn yet and we can have opportunity of speaking. I want to go America or Australia as first as possible I can because I have never been abroad. I’d like to work with English in the future.

The third, I decided to learn German in university because it’s used in many fields. I could learn reading and grammar. German had many words which be similar to English and I had easy to memorize words. We learned German with cassette tapes and listened to correct German. It is right for me to learn German because German words are in other classes. Though I don’t study German now, I think to have another look at it.

As I have said, I have ever studied three subjects. Japanese is my mother tongue and I always use Japanese. Japanese has kanji, hiragana and katakana, and it seemed to be difficult for other country’s people. English is so important in modern society and a common language in the world. It will be useful us in this society. German is useful in my classes. I go abroad and want to study English more.

4th Essays: "i, ROBOT"

My recommending movie is “I ROBOT”. In this movie, robots had three rules and lived with human. A robot had a problem. The three rules was the key. A leading actor of this one was Will Smith. This movie was powerful and interesting.

The establishment was in Chicago in 2025. One of five people used a domestic helper robot. Car ran with automatic drive and parking areas were saving spaces because cars were put away with standing. Computer give- and- take didn’t use a keyboard and mouse. People communicated by an audio system and computer had an audio response system. This one expressed the near future and I was so excited this life and things. How will real 17 years later be? It may be something in this movies.

Robots for domestic use spread as human’s partner. One after another, new robot appeared and was about to greet new robot society. That time, Dr. Alfred Lanning was killed. A suspect was the latest NS- 5 model robot “sonny”. But robot will not injure a parson. Del Sooner in Chicago police and psychologist Dr. Susan Calvin pursued the mystery. …..It was “special” robot which wasn’t programmed the three laws.

Robot had “the three laws”.
1. Robot must not harm a parson
2. Robot must obey an order which was given by human
3. Robot must defend itself as far as robot wasn’t against the 1 and 2 laws

Robots were programmed this one and shared with human. Nothing must get into some troubles. But…
　
Will Smith was so cool and muscular. It was also excellent a figure who was ridding a
car in this movie. I like both his cool figure and smile. His smile was cute and I was cured.
He had many works. For example, “I AM REGEND” ”MIB” “The Legend of Bagger Vance” and so on. I don’t watch movies, videos and DVD well because a videocassette recorder was broken now. But I don’t plan to buy new one now. His works look so interesting and want to watch them some day. He is one of the famous actors in the world.

In this movie, many robots appeared like cockroaches and I was surprised at the scene. They were expressionless faces and had all same faces. They stood in the room. And they had three laws. Will Smith has many works and they are great hits. I think that he is cool than anything else. Please watch his works.
