How I study English

The way of my studying English are to talk with foreigners, to take a lot of exams and to go to English conversation school. At first, there are a lot of non-Japanese in KGU. So, I have much chance. I must speak to them more.
Next, I can take TOFEL, TOEIC and Eiken test. I take these and I must take high scores. So, I must have my studying English time.
Then, I'm going to go to English conversation school. I'm not good at listening ability. I want to progress its ability. I’d like to speak English because I want to work using English.

Hi Chika,

What do you mean by "foreigners?"

Cheers.

Hi, pab. Thank you for leaving a message.

"Foreigners" are non-Japanese.

Hi Chika.

Thank you for sharing your definition of foreigners. Now I have a counter-example that I'd like you to consider in light of that definition.

Why would sports writers or announcers call a Japanese baseball player like Ichiro Suzuki a foreign player?

Thanks again for your thoughts.

Good evening, pab.

I answer your question.

I think they call a foreign player because Ichiro Suzuki comes from Japan.
This is my opinion.

Hi, Chika! Actually, it's morning now, where I am (Kumamoto).

Thank you for answering my question about Ichiro. It seems that if some people call non-Japanese people foreign, and other people call Japanese people foreign, both groups are at a communicative impasse.

That's why I called into question your use of the the word "foreigners." As long as people keep using words like that to describe people who are from various countries, it is hard to imagine communication taking place among them.

Thank you again for your time and consideration.
