BR 2-12: THE STORY OF BABAR

I love Babar. How abou u?
The Story of Babar is essentially the tale of a country boy who comes to the city and, while there, comes of age. In the end, he returns home to share his knowledge and experiences with family and friends. The beautiful, delightfully detailed illustrations--de Brunhoff was a painter by trade--never fail to amuse. Although none of the characters seem to notice, the sight of Babar in a suit leaning against the mantel while he regales his audience with tales of the jungle is plainly hilarious. All of the Babar books are notable for their ability to tell larger stories with simplicity and style, and The Story of Babar is no exception. Potentially troubling moments--the death of Babar's mother, for example--are handled with taste, emphasizing Babar's unique gift for uncovering a silver lining in the most persistent of clouds.

I had no part time job and of a school council.So, I went shopping in downtown. First, I was going to buy a pair of pumps but I bought a pair of boots. They were so warm. It seemed Inuit.

September 9.
My 4 friends and I went to Kagoshima for taking a hotspring.
One of them is from Kagoshima, so we went there.
We ate lunch in Kagoshima. It was funny because everyone chose similar lunch.
Then we went to an aquqrium. I have been there once when I was a junior high school student. I had a good time. Next, we went to convenience store and decided which hotspring we went. We could relaxed. At night, we went to a boy’s house which is from Kagoshima and ate dinner. His mother made us cooked Okonomiyaki and Rahmen. They were so delicious. We went back to Kumamoto carefully.

Sea of Shiratsuru-ga-hama

August 18-19.
A student council camp was held in Shiratsuru-ga-hama bathing place.
We gathered at a convenience store near university at 10 am. Then we went to next meeting place. At last, we left for the bathing place. I went there for the first time. On the way, we dropped in EAON and ate lunch. A car on which I got was later than other’s car because we stopped on the way J It was raining outside. After lunch, we left again. We took the wrong way…We turned back halfway and went to the right way. When we arrived, everyone was bathing in the sea. We changed bathing suits or swimming trunks and went into the sea. I enjoyed playing in the sea. My 2 friends and I got out of the sea. Everyone got out after a short time, too. We started preparing BBQ. After BBQ, we played with skyrockets. We enjoyed and had a good time. The night was very long and cheerful. Next morning, we must check out at 9 am. We broke up at the place. 2 people and I got on a car. I drove on the way. We reached Joyful and ate lunch. But we left…We did janken and I was defeated. I drove again.

BR 1-10: The Rat Hunt

July 7, it was Mouse and Jojo's birthday. The table was covered with birthday presents, Mum made a cake. They went upstairs to get ready for school. Ricky was Mouse's pet. It was a mouse. Mouse wanted to spend a party time with Ricky. They went home just as the school bell rang. There were bunches of balloons and beautiful food. The house looked fantastic. Mouse wanted Ricky to watch these. Mouse raced up stairs. But Ricky wasn't in his cage. Mouse was furious. Jojo didn't know anything about it. They had a quarrel. Their birthday party started and they and their friends did a treasure hunt. But Mouse care about his Ricky and couldn't enjoy the treasure hunt. His mom and dad promised to look for Ricky. Everyone looked for many clues of treasure. These were a box which was written "TREASURE" in the house. It was full of choc - ices. Mouse thought Ricky would be the place which was foods. he saw to the table. So, Ricky was sleeping in the birthday cake. Ricky was Mouse's treasure. Everyone laughed.

I wanted to do a treasure hunt after I read this book. It wouldn't be done in birthday of Japan, maybe. Mouse's emotion which Ricky wasn't was writtten in this book. I think this book is fun.
