I'm going to have a junior high school reunion on January 12, 2009. We have a coming of age celebration in the morning. Then we move a high school which I have been for 3 years with everyone. There are many friends in KGU, I have some friends that I see such always. But the day is special day. We dress up and make up. I greet an events once my life. I have new good memories and I am lost in memories of my childfood. I worry if I can see my friends because there are a lot of people there.

Essay 2-05; My Happy Place
I introduce to my secret place in Kumamoto. My secret place is Honmyo – temple. This place is near my house. Do you know Kiyomasa Kato? He is held a ceremony there. He is a historic person.
This place will be held a festival in the latter half of every July. This festival is called “Tonshae”. We usual call “Tonsha”. Also, many people will visit with family, lovers, friends and so on. They often wear yukata or jinbei. The night always bustles and they spend a good night. On this festival day, both sides of the street are lined with stalls. These are about 150 stalls. Many stalls sell many kinds of shaved ice, ice candy, cotton candy, candies shaped many characters, frankfurters, grilled chicken, chow mein, juice, grilled squid, masks, yo – yo, goldfish and so on. We must go up in stone steps until we arrive at the top of Honmyo – temple. They are tired, but they can enjoy until the last because many stalls are lined until the top. They reach the top soon if they talk with family, lovers, friends and so on, eat kinds of food or play a game.
I went this festival with my friends last year. A friend and I wore yukata. This festival day is the first day that I will wear yukata or jinbei on the year because the event is held on the beginning summer. I can see to local friends on this event, so I can have a good time. I took university friends to this event. I want many friends to visit my local festival, so this summer festival is so funny! Please come “Tonsha” next year :) I will be looking forward to see you.

K.G.U Parade of the City
October 4. This day was held K.G.U parade of the city. We, 11 members of a student council, went near Aso by cars at an early morning of this day. We started to do "Leaving - game" in the middle of the night. 3 men had to come back university till 4 am. A man was dropped off an the way to go back university from car because the day was his birthday. The 3 men had their works of a parade from 4 am. So we picked up them on the way. But the men continued to run. We had works from 9 am. When an opening ceremony was finished, the man appeared. We forgot him a little;b Then we began to guard of a way. I finished my work and went to Sirakawa park. I was very thirsty. The parade of the city was finished and we went back university. I watched many portable shrines for the first time. All portable shrines were great!

Kan-jyani∞ in Guranmesse
August 26-27.
“Kan-Jyani∞” concert was held in Guranmesse.
I did a part time job of commodity selling.
At first, I learned how to a machine of a bar code reader.
It was difficult to use it.
But I worked as replenishment. On the way, I used that machine a little.
There were many audiences and they bought many goods.
The goods were post carts, posters, fans, a pen light, T-shirt, files, an elastic band, a water bottle, a lunch box, pass cases, a pamphlet, a shopping bag and photo cards.
It was from 11 o’clock am to past 10 o’clock pm on first day.
I stayed at a woman of experience in this field’s home because we must go at early time and I had her send again.
The next day performed publicly twice a day. So, it was hard to sell goods.
It was from 9 o’clock am to10 o’clock pm on second day.
My long 2 days was finished.

Stamina-Tarou with ex 1-3
August 12.
I ate out Stamina-tarou with 1-3 classmates of high school.
14 people gathered.
I was very glad to see them. Some friends went to university of outside the prefecture.
We were full and talked about many things.
After lunch, we went to Hikari-no-mori.
Then we took Purikura together.
It was a nice day. I'd like to see them again!

*Fire Works in Kumamoto Castle*
August 8.

I have already seen fire works three times this year.
In Green Land, Tamana and the second enclosure of Kumamoto castle.
I went to see there with 10 friends.
Many girls put on Yukata and a boy put on Jinbei.
We watched ET-KING live from 6:30 pm and went to buy foods.
I ate a fried chicken.
Fire works started from 8:00 pm.
Many heart model's fire works were displayed.
They were so wonderful.
After they finished, we could meet many friends.
Then some friends went back, and 2 friends and I went to our friend's part-time job shop.
We watched some magics. We were amazed these.
1 friend went back, so we went to Mac.
We talked about seeing other fire works, going hot springs and so on.

Essay-1: Listen about myself
Hi, my name is Chika. I'm 19 years old and go to university. I belong to Britain and American English department. My family is a father, a mother, an elder sister, me and a goldfish. My elder sister goes to same university with me. Also, the goldfish came my home recently. It has no name. Do you have any idea?
I live in Kmamoto in Japan. There are Kumamoto castle, Mt. Aso and so on here. I can watch Kumamoto castle near my house. It is lighted at night and so beautiful. Please watch it with your eyes. My house is near in the center of the city.I want to go to central park, historic buildings, schools, famous places and your favorite places when I went to your country. Would you please tell me about these.
My hobbies are to listen Western musics and to watch foreign films. What are songs and films which you recommend? I lack the ability of listening. So I want to progress my listening ability. I'd like to be able to watch foreign films without subtitles in the future. Would you tell me a knack of it?
