A Room Without Walls
Looking from there, I saw a yellow cliff far away
and the sea and white waves.
As I was human
I Ionged for other humans
and kept on looking
without blinking.
There was the sun
and there were rocks.
There were a few trees,
but the only creature there was me.
It was a private room without walls.
All I did was just stand or lie on the ground.
Madly I imagined
that I had a woman there beside me,
making her bear children
and building a family.
Luster on the Walls
Inside the stone windows, the floor was stone.
The table on the stone floor was stone.
The bed on the stone floor was stone.
The pillow was stone.
The tableware was stone.
There was no knob on the door.
There was no burial ground.
All the stone was black and lustrous.
The woman did not go out of the stone house.
The man was waiting for another man.
The men indulged themselves in pleasure, holding each other.
The woman was embraced only until she gave birth to a child.
The child the woman held in her arms was hungry and cried all the time.
Crying thus all the while, children grew to be men and women.
They never ceased to be, for several thousand years, there in the black stone.
In the Wall
A man was walking along a wall
a crazy wal!
There was a long crack in it
So he pered through and saw two bodies moving
in the far corner ofthe large white field
They Iooked warm
Were they trying to kill each other?
The one lifting its arms
and sticking out its chest
seemed to be a woman
Was she in ecstasy?
The one knocked down
secmed to be a woman
The large white foreground
melted the bodies dazzlingly
There was a flash of light
The man left the crack
and heard a violent crash ofthunder
Was that the end or the beginning?
